A BOVAG chassis service is a combination of inspection and maintenance of all important chassis parts of your caravan or motorhome. The entire chassis, lighting and tires are discussed. This maintenance is comparable to a ‘minor service’ for your car.

When everything is in order or, after consultation, the necessary repairs have been carried out, we will provide your caravan or motorhome with a BOVAG approval sticker.

A specially trained inspector focuses on the following parts during the undercarriage service:

• Skew check
• Check condition of the overrun brake, cables and pipes
• Checking the brake lining and wheel bearings
• Check underside of chassis & drawbar
• Tire and suspension check
• Check breakaway cable
• Control all moving parts
• Brake test

The BOVAG advises you to have a BOVAG maintenance carried out once every two years and to have this BOVAG undercarriage service carried out in the intervening years.
